. Plastic bags for blood collection have been tested according to the chemical and biological tests in the European Agreement on the Exchange of Therapeutic Substances of Human Origin and in the Nordic Pharmacopoeia. The results show that the bags meet the requirements in the European Agreement except for taste and smell of the eluate and for heavy metals in one of the eluates. The requirements in the Nordic Pharmacopoeia are met by 3 out of the 7 bags tested.
