. An account of the reasons which have induced the administration of the Lausanne Blood Transfusion Center to equip their institute with a computer. The electronic equipment used is described. The functions of the various programs written for the administration of the Transfusion Center with this computer are given in detail. The results which have been obtained are concisely exposed and discussed.
