. A micro complement fixation test has been developed for the simple and rapid determination of HL‐A and other groups on platelets. The additional advantages of its requirement for only 0.5 μ(1 of serum or serum dilution, easy storage and stability of platelet antigens, frequent monospecificity of complement fixing anti‐sera, and the possibility of quantitation and automation makes the micro‐complement fixation method idealy suited for widespread, rapid and simple HL‐A typing.
