Summary A case of a ‘Bombay’, Lewis negative blood type is described. The saliva of the Proposita has apparently failed to cross — react with anti‐Pn XIV serum. Her red cells scored higher titers than red cells of normal ABO phenotypes with a lectins ( Ricinus communis ) known to possess anti‐Pn XIV specificity.
