Summary An unusual Rh gene complex was found in six apparently unrelated Swedish families; for it the symbols D(C)(e) are used: the brackets represent weakness of the corresponding antigens. The gene complex is similar to the so far described only in a single Negro family. Résumé Un complexe de gènes Rhésus inhabituel a été trouvé dans six families suédoises, à première vue non apparentées; pour ce complexe, les symboles D ( C )( e ) ont été utilisés: les parenthèses indiquent la faiblesse de l'antigène correspondent. Ce complexe de gènes est identique au complexe décrit dans une seule famille de race noire. Zusammenfassung Bei sechs offenbar unter sich nicht verwandten schwedischen Familien wurde ein ungewöhnlicher Rh‐Genkomplex gefunden. Er wird mit dem Symbol D ( C )( e ) bezeichnet, wobei die Klammern auf die Schwäche der betreffenden Antigene binweisen. Dieser Genkomplex gleicht dem , welcher bisher erst bei einer einzelnen Negerfamilie beschrieben wurde.
