Summary The reactions of anti‐mouse rabbit serum with the human O Rh pos. erythrocytes sensitized by 12 various anti‐D antibodies of human origin are described. The antimouse serum detects the anti‐D antibodies as reliably as the compared anti‐human goat serum does. The nature of the species non‐specific reactions is discussed on the basis of the common antigenic determinants of the serum proteins. Résumé L'auteur décrit les réactions du sérum de lapin anti‐souris avec des érythrocytes O Rhésus positifs humains sensibilisés par 12 sérums anti‐D différents d'origine humaine. Le sérum anti‐souris met en évidence l'anti‐D d'une manière aussi précise que l'immun‐sérum de chèvre anti‐humain. La nature des réactions d'espéce non spécifique est discutée sur la base des déterminants antigéniques communs des protéines sériques. Zusammenfassung Es werden die Reaktionen eines Anti‐Mäuseserum‐Immunserums vom Kaninchen mit rhesuspositiven, menschlichen Erythrozyten der Blutgruppe O, welche mit 12 menschlichen Anti‐D‐Seren sensibilisiert worden waren, beschrieben. Das Anti‐Maus‐Immunserum erfaßt die Anti‐D‐Antikörper genau so gut wie das zu Vergleichszwecken mituntersuchte Anti‐Humanserum‐Immunserum einer Ziege. Diese Reaktionen werden durch das Vorkommen gemeinsamer Antigendeterminanten in den Serumproteinen der verschiedenen Säugetiere erklärt.
