Summary Three cases of weak B are described in an Indian family. The antigen appears to be inherited by an allele of B at ABO locus. These cases closely resemble the ones described by Levine et al . [8], Mäkelä and Mäkelä [10] and Yokoyama et al . [17]. The cells reacted more strongly with immune anti‐B and anti‐A+B (group O) sera. Résumé Les auteurs décrivent trois cas de B faibles dans une fade hindoustane. L'antigène semble être conditionné par un allèle de B situé au locus ABO. Ces cas présentent une similitude étroite avec ceux décrits par Levine et al . [8], Mäkela et Mäkela [10] et Yokoyama et al . [17]. Les érythrocytes réagissent plus fortement avec des sérums anti‐B immuns et avec les sérums O (anti A+B). Zusammenfassung In einer indischen Familie wurden drei Individuen mit einem schwachen B‐Antigen festgestellt. Die drei Fälle gleichen weitestgehend denjenigen von Levine et al . [8], Mäkelä und Mäkelä [10] und Yokoyama et al . [17]. Die Zellen reagierten stärker mit Immun‐Anti‐B‐ und ‐Anti‐A+B‐(Gruppe‐O) Seren.
