Summary The Crosby blood is described, which has the previously obscure Rh antigen G (“CD”) but not C, D, or E. “Anti‐CD” is shown to be a specific antibody, anti‐G, against a distinct antigen G. That G is quite antigenic, and therefore of clinical importance, is evident from considerable past experience. It should be tested for, preferably with anti‐G (“anti‐CD”) in all Rh negative donors. Résumé Description d'un sang Crosby qui contient l'antigène Rh G (“CD”) jusqu'ici mal compris, mais pas les antigènes C, D ou E. Grǎce à ce sang il est possible de montrer que le serum dit «anti‐CD» contient en réalité un seul anticorps spécifique, anti‐G, dirigé contre un antigene distinct G. L'expérience amassée jusqu'à présent indique que G est assez fortement antigénique, et donc important au point de vue clinique.
