SUMMARY Citanest C 14 has been shown to be degraded by liver and kidney slices. In vivo experiments demonstrate that metabolites are excreted in the urine and decarboxylation with excretion of C 14 0 2 has been demonstrated in the rat. Further studies are needed to establish all the pathways for metabolism of Citanest.
