Transpl Infect Dis 2010: 12: 84–86. All rights reserved Abstract: Adenoviral infections are commonly described in pediatric transplant populations. However, much less information is available regarding the incidence of infection and clinical spectrum of disease in adult transplant recipients. Moreover, this infection usually manifests as involvement of the transplanted organ in one pathologic form or the other, in addition to other systemic manifestations. We present a case of adenoviral infection of a nontransplanted organ in a solid organ transplant recipient.
