Abstract: Infections with vancomycin‐resistant Enterococci cause significant morbidity and mortality in hospitalized patients, including transplant recipients. We report the successful use of oral linezolid to treat a case of vancomycin‐resistant Enterococcus faecium endocarditis in a renal transplant recipient with human immunodeficiency virus infection.
