Abstract:  Early hepatic artery complications after liver transplantation in children, having undergone LDLT, can directly affect graft and recipient outcomes, making early diagnosis and treatment essential. In the past, laparotomy (thrombectomy or reanastomosis) was generally employed to treat early hepatic artery complications. Recently, favorable outcomes of IR have been reported. In children, however, the number of such reports is small. To the best of our knowledge, there is no published report on IR applied to neonates with early hepatic artery complications. We recently succeeded in safely using IR for a neonate with early hepatic artery complications after LDLT and obtained a favorable outcome. This case is presented herein.
