As far as is known, hairy ear rims have not been recorded at birth in a female infant in association with skin malformations corresponcling to icthyosis follicularis. The present report concerns a three‐day‐old child admitted to the Ophthalmic Ward, J. A. Group of Hospitals, Gwalior. The relatives wanted removal of bulbous pedunculated tags of skin attached to the outer canthus of her eyes. On examination, it appeared possible that the child exhibits a new genetic syndrome comprising ophthalmic, dermatologic, and anatomical disorders.
