diagnosis of allergies related to coriander, lychee and mandarin. From our case, it is clear that BAT can also help to diagnose allergy from food additives such as natural colouring agents. Although the BAT does not distinguish between IgE and non-IgE-mediated reactions, the IgE-immunoblot experiments point to an underlying IgE-mediated mechanism.
