Summary From our data we conclude, that the determinations of ECP and EPX do not add any useful information as monitoring parameters for bronchial allergen challenge tests. In contrast, eosinophils and eosinophil cationic protein may deserve further study as potentially useful monitoring parameters for oral food challenges in patients with food related atopic eczema.
