Rabbit antibodies were raised separately against an aqueous and a detergent extract of row hair and dander. It is shown by means of quantitative immunoelectrophoresis that the extracts contain the same major allergens and that these are equally potent in RAST‐inhibition experiments. The extraction with a detergent did not lead to the appearance of new allergens.
