Acquired hair shaft abnormalities resembling genetic trichorrhexis nodosa were seen In two patient's. Selenium shampoo and bacterial infection with trichomycosis axillaris may have been the contributing factors. There is a possibility that strongyloides larvae caused trichonodosis in one patient.
