Neither systemic nor primary cutaneous cryptococcosis has ever been reported in Egypt. The case of a 14–year‐old girl with a solitary primary cutaneous cryptococcosis lesion is presented. A surgical specimen proved the diagnosis, although the lesion resembled a rapidly growing epithelioma. Follow‐up for 4 months did not reveal evidence of systemic involvement.
