Psocomorpha from recent collections in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay are enumerated and described. Thirty‐four new species are described, representing the families Caeciliidae (8), Amphipsocidae (2), Lachesillidae (5), Pseudocaeciliidae (2), Philotarsidae (3), Hemipsocidae (I), Psocidae (II), and Myopsocidae (2). Notes on six previously described species are given.
