SYNOPSIS The species of the Indian and South‐East Asian genus Ethope Moore are re‐assessed. New synonymy is established, type data presented for all nominal species, and a key to the species and subspecies is included. The phylogeny and zoogeography of the genus are discussed, and mimicry shown by some of the species is reviewed.
