A new species of Trichacoides from India with a redescription of T. scutellaris Dodd (Hymenoptera: Platygasteridae)

SYNOPSIS A second species of Trichacoides Dodd, parasitic on Procontarinia sp. (Cecidomyiidae), is described from India. The first description of a male of this genus is given. Trichacoides scutellaris Dodd, the type species, is redescribed and illustrated, and a revised generic diagnosis presented.
