An enzyme activity, enolase (2‐phospho‐D‐glycerate hydro‐lyase, E.C. 4.2.1.11), was shown to be connected to the brain‐specific protein 14.3.2. Specific staining methods were used on immuno precipitates of the protein. The enzyme activity was strongly inhibited by the addition of fluoride in the presence of phosphate. Metal ion binding capacity of the protein was shown by means of an auto radiographic method.
