Summary. The quantitative radioimmunoelectrophoresis for the determination of insulin binding to IgG is described. In 95% of 267 Danish diabetics treated with insulin, insulin‐binding IgG has been demonstrated. The method has the advantage of being specific, sensitive, and simple. A number of precautionary measures to be taken when using isotopes in electrophoresis are mentioned.
