Drechslera tritici‐repentis , anamorph of Pyrenophora tritici‐repentis , was found in diamond‐shaped, dark‐brown lesions on leaves of several winter wheat crops in England and Wales. Lesions were darker than the otherwise similar lesions caused by Septoria nodorum.
