SUMMARY Five pathogens, including Drechslera teres, D. graminea and Septoria nodorum , were found to be widespread on commercial seed barley. D. sorokiniana ( Helminthosporium sativum ), once rare, was the commonest; Fusarium nivale was frequent. Differences in eultivar susceptibility were indicated.
