SUMMARY A formulation of copper oxychloride, containing emulsified paraffin wax, was compared with a commercial wettable powder in conventional field spraying trials for control of potato bhght ( Phvtophthora infestans ). Spraying with the wax formulation usually gave a significant increase in yield under conditions where the wettable powder did not. However, differences in copper residues on the foliage, and in control of blight, were slight. The wax may offset the effects of damage done to the Plants by the copper oxychloride.
