SYNOPSIS An analysis is given of collections of Elassoneuria nymphs bearing immature Simulium berneri from the forest zone of West Cameroon near Kumba. The size and sex of the mayfly nymphs, the size and attachment sites of S. berneri and the infestation rates are recorded. The method of dispersion is discussed.
