S ynopsis Eggs of Stylogaster are recorded for the first time on adults of the calyptrate genera Bengalia, Tricyclea and Hemigymnochaeta (Calliphoridae), and Sromoxys, Bdellia, Phaonia, Emmesomyia and Helina (Muscidae). The connection of the hosts with Stylogaster , through their association with ants or animal dung, is discussed. It is suggested that a record in the literature, of Stylogaster reared from a puparium of Glossina morsitans is in error.
