Summary HIV and T. gondii infection markers were measured among 383 Intravenous Drug Users (IDU). And cytokine concentrations (IL‐4, IL‐6, IL‐10, IL‐12, IFN‐γ and TNF‐α) were determined. The results showed IDU with HIV infection or HIV/ T. gondii co‐infection could disturb Th regulatory mechanism.
