Summary Attention to the concept of course compression can produce excellent results in educational terms to both those that are taught and those that are teaching them, and could potentially lead to the point where authorities responsible for medical education could seriously consider reducing the length of the undergraduate course by ensuring that the relevant subject matter was covered in a shorter period of time by increased attention to methods such as course compression.
