SUMMARY Scanning tunnelling microscope (STM) images of the c(2√3×4)rect layer of benzene and carbon monoxide co‐adsorbed on the Rh(111) surface are shown. For the first time, individual CO molecules have been resolved, as well as ring‐like benzene structures.
