SUMMARY Difficulties concerning low temperature polymerization of Lowicryl K4M have been overcome by constructing and using a simplified polymerization chamber with plastic syringe. Five Beem capsules without cover containing the resin together with the specimen can be inserted into this syringe. For polymerization it is filled with nitrogen gas and closed tightly. Then the device is exposed to long wave UV‐light at 253 K. Using this polymerization chamber Lowicryl K4M resin blocks hardened completely and homogeneously.
