SUMMARY A modification of the glutaraldehyde‐osmium tetroxide‐tannic acid‐uranyl acetate (GOTU) fixation procedure is described which allows human leucocytes to be examined subsequently by either transmission electron microscopy (TEM) or scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
