The use of the ‘tissue sectioner’ in selecting histological features for electron microscopical study

SUMMARY A method is described which enables rapid and accurate localization of scattered or randomly occurring histological features in 10–30 mm 3 of tissue for subsequent examination with the electron microscope. Examples of selecting a histological feature and individual cells are illustrated.
