SYNOPSIS The histology is described, for the first time, of certain of the lymph nodes of the rare Sumatran Rhinoceros ( Didermocerus sumatrensis ). These have a marked structural resemblance to the spleen, but reveal no uniform evidence of being hæmolymph organs, though their metaplasia thereinto is indicated.
