SYNOPSIS The histology and fine anatomy of the larva of Bolitophila luminosa have been considered. There are two separate glands, silk (salivary) and mucus, producing the web and mucus droplets of the snare. Chordotonal (scolophore) organs have been described from the anal papillæ.
