Three patients are reported in whom Hodgkin's disease was associated with the nephrotic syndrome. Biopsy studies by light and electron microscopy revealed minimal or absent renal lesions, and renal vein obstruction was excluded by angiographic examinations. In two cases development and remission of nephrotic syndrome was closely related to the course of Hodgkin's disease, which in one patient both conditions remained unrelieved. The close time relationship observed in these patients, as well as in similar cases previously reported, suggests that these two conditions when associated may share a common pathogenetic mechanism.
