Nutritional therapy plays a major role in the management of patients with Alcoholic Liver Disease (ALD). This paper attempts to review current clinical practice in this field and includes classification of alcoholic liver disease, causes of nutritional deficiency, assessment of nutritional status and the recommended dietary management.
