  For over 10 years now some geography teachers have been exploring the use of computers in their classrooms. Subsequent to the publication of the National Curriculum Technology Order in 1990 and the geography Order in 1991, a selection of that interest group were invited to comment on the limitations and opportunities the Orders offered to geography education. The contributions focus on the implications for: information handling; modelling; classroom management; INSET; cross‐phase linkage; implementation; and future scenarios.
