SUMMARY Modern voltammetric techniques, e.g. differential pulse polarography and voltammetry, anodic/cathodic stripping voltammetry and electrochemical detection for high performance liquid chromatography or flow injection analysis, are reviewed with respect to their basic theory, design and usage of available instrumentation and applications to drug assays in formulation and body fluid matrices.
