Summary Pharmacokinetic data has been obtained for seven clinical subjects after single i.m. doses of streptomycin. An attempt has been made to relate the half‐lives found to the kidney functions of the subjects, as estimated from their serum creatinine levels, by standard published methods. A high degree of scatter was observed in the plot of the results. Further analysis of the data was attempted taking into account individual variations in the volume of distribution of the drug, which may be partly responsible for the scatter.
