1 A device for dispensing up to 100 1 simultaneously from as many as 24 tubes arranged in a randomized block is described. As the device can also be used for dispensing single drops onto the surface of pre‐dried agar in Petri dishes, it can be used for viable counts. 2 To validate the technique, dose‐response curves of the preservative bronopol against Pseudomonas aeruginosa were examined.
