Antibiotic Residues and Their Recovery from Animal Tissues

Investigations were carried out to detect antibiotics in the presence of animal tissues. It was found that antibiotic levels below the maximum permissible level suggested for meat by the F.A.O./W.H.O. could be detected. Tissue samples from animals injected with an antibiotic were examined and results compared with meat to which antibiotic had been added
