. The survival of infectious bronchitis virus in an iodophor disinfectant and modifications of the disinfectant by the omission or increase of certain components was determined by 2 methods. Both showed that iodine was the most important factor in preventing the survival of virus and that surfactant and acid were complementary to this. Stabilizer, in the presence of yeast, prolonged virus survival.
