Leukocytes were separated from porcine blood and their cellular components fractionated either by differential centrifugation or by n‐butyl alcohol extraction. Acid phosphatase, aryl sulfatases, β‐glucuronidase and cathepsin D were purified by DEAE‐cellulose and Sephadex column chromatography and by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Histochemical reactions were used to identify enzymes in the latter procedure.
