FROM GAS-LIQUID chromatographic analyses, the distribution patterns of sugars in various tropical fruit or fruit products have been ieported for banana and pineapple by Kline et al. (1970), mountain pawpaw by Heatherbell (1974), papaya, lychee, mango, guava, passion fruit, soursop, rose apple, mountain apple and Surinam cherry by Chan and Kwok (1975a, b), Chan et al. (1975) and Chan and Lee (1975). Reported herein are the sugar compositions of five tropical fruits.
