Summary. A case is reported where the root canals of were filled with apical gutta‐percha cones and AH26 sealer. Two months later the was prepared for a post crown, and on cementation of the post the root filling was displaced apically. The tooth gave symptoms until apicetomy and retrograde root filling were carried out.
