. This is a case report of a patient who bad an eosinophilic granuloma of the mandible. The lesion was initially considered to be a periapical granuloma associated with an infected pulp in a lower incisor. After the lesion failed to respond to treatment the patient was referred to hospital where a biopsy was performed. Once the diagnosis had been established the affected lower incisors were removed and the lesion curetted. One year later there has been no recurrence.
