Two cases of micro‐invasive breast carcinoma with granuloma formation associated with invasive foci are presented. This is an unusual feature which may aid in the recognition of stromal micro‐invasion. Micro‐invasive carcinomas are defined as predominantly non‐invasive tumours in which there are one or more foci of infiltration, none measuring more than 1 mm in maximum diameter 1 .
