A bstract Qureshi and Mula have suggested a computer method for the calculation of the shape of a two dimensional body from the gravity anomaly profile associated with it. The application of the method, however, was restricted to those bodies which have their top or base horizontal and end sides vertical. In this paper study has been made to investigate the possibility of eliminating the above mentioned restrictions and has arrived at the affirmative conclusion.
